In 2002, Frederick Bros. Oil Company became Frederick Bros. Oil & Propane. So many more homes in Maine are now using multiple fuel sources, and Propane can be used for a variety of uses year round. We wanted to be able to better serve our customers by offering them a single source for their energy needs.

Delivery of Propane

Whether you use Propane for just cooking, pool heat, or for your primary heat and hot water - we can adequately supply your delivery needs. Unlike oil, your pricing will be based on your volume per year. Please call us for details. We also encourage all of our Propane customers to be on Automatic delivery to avoid any safety risk and expense associated with unexpected run-outs.

Setting a new tank or Swapping out an existing tank

 -If you are installing a new gas appliance, heat or hot water system and need a Propane tank set - just give us a call.

 -If you would like to swap out your existing tank with one of ours, we can do this very easily with no interruption of service - call us for details.

Either way, we will send a qualified technician to your home or business to inspect the site location. We will then make arrangements with you to install our equipment and also perform a complete gas safety check on your system.

Propane Service & Installation

If you need regular maintenance, emergency service, or a new installation - we have the guys to handle the job. Our technicians are fully licensed, CETP certified, insured and experienced in both propane and oil systems.
